COVID 19 - Remote Work

To access the NYP resources remotely, there are a few options. Each of these have needed steps required to be provide proper and secure access. This guild will walk you through these steps and give you overview of remote tools for collaboration and access to your primary applications.

Requesting Telecommuting privileges. You must fill out the NYP Telecommuting Agreement to validate you are allowed to work remotely and will give you access to Remote Kronos.

To gain access to NYP network you may request VPN access. This will give you access to the NYP network directly from your computer.

You must have an active Duo account to access any NYP resource remotely. You may also need Mobile Iron for you NYP mobile device.

Another way to access the NYP Network is via an Aruba Remote Access Point (RAP. These need to be order and are required if you have an NYP Cisco phone and need access to one of the Call Centers.

WebEx Teams is the new way to communicate with all NYP staff. This replaces Jabber and Lync.

WebEx Meeting is the primary way to remotely collaborate with other staff members, schedule web meeting and conference calls.
Box is a Cloud base secure share drive that you can use to store and share document s with your colleges securely.

Access to the NYP App Store will give you access to many of the NYP Applications posted on the Citrix portal.
